I founded a fashion label before 'sustainable' or 'artisan-made' became fashion dictionary. It was the early 2000s, and the label — EXAMPLE — was designed with and made by artisans across India. That experience of working directly with weavers, craftspeople, and makers shaped everything that came after: a practice built on the conviction that how something is made is inseparable from what it means.and more importantly, make it slow, make it well!

Over two decades, that practice has expanded across apparel design, brand identity, packaging, art direction, and campaign production — always for brands in fashion, lifestyle, craft, beauty, and fragrance that treat their creative communication with the same care as their product.

I work with founders who are building something specific, leadership teams who need a senior creative partner without a full-time overhead, and brands at inflection points — launching, repositioning, or entering a new market. My work is the point where material knowledge meets brand language: I understand how things are made, and I know how to make that matter to the people who'll want them.

Currently based in the Sahyadri hills of western Maharastra. Available for freelance, consultant, and fractional engagements worldwide.
